Keep the right information
Save the model name, version, order details, serial number, and supplied instructions. Keep any manufacturer guidance with the bike so that you can identify the right components and service information later. Store-specific warranty eligibility and claims arrangements should be confirmed in the store’s policy or directly with support.
Make checks part of the routine
Follow the manual for brakes, tires, wheels, fasteners, and drivetrain checks. A quick glance is not a substitute for required maintenance or professional inspection. If something feels different, is damaged, or behaves unexpectedly, stop and resolve the problem before continuing.
Follow battery-specific instructions
Use the specified compatible battery and charger and follow the supplied charging and storage instructions. Temperature limits, charging conditions, and storage guidance vary. Do not use damaged equipment or improvise compatibility between components. Refer questions to the manufacturer or appropriate service provider.
Clean for the conditions
Use the cleaning methods allowed by the bike manual. Protect electrical components as instructed, and do not assume that an e-bike is suitable for pressure washing or immersion. After a wet or dirty ride, follow the model’s drying, inspection, and lubrication guidance.
Plan for quieter seasons
Before a period of storage, review the battery and bike storage guidance, including environment and any required periodic checks. When returning to riding, complete the recommended inspections rather than assuming that the bike is ready because it was working when stored.
